"Women were actively asssociated with men in every scocial and religious ritual

In Smritik era, the honourable status, a Hindu woman enjoyed in Vedic era had gradually
started declining. Smritikars imposed so many oblications on a Hindu woman and restrained
her to household chores and child rearing."
